La Città dell'Oro : racconto

In the humid heart of the Amazon, two cousins trek through tangled foliage, their rifles poised as the forest hums with unseen life. The narrative thrusts listeners into a vivid jungle tableau—chirping mico monkeys, bright‑winged canindè parrots, and the roar of the mighty Orenoco river—all while tension builds around a lurking jaguar whose amber‑spotted silhouette slides between the trees.

When the beast finally appears, the scene erupts into frantic gunfire and a desperate scramble for survival. An unexpected ally, a stoic indigenous warrior wielding a massive iron‑wood mace, intervenes with decisive force, turning the tide in a heartbeat. The episode blends raw wilderness danger with a flash of cultural encounter, setting the stage for further adventures that promise both peril and discovery. Listeners will feel the heat, hear the animal calls, and share the cousins’ pulse‑quickening brush with death.
