The story opens under the thunder of drums and the blare of bugles as a bustling circus pitches its canvas across a lively fairground. Amid the glittering banners, roaring animals and colorful performers, young acrobat Joe Strong slips into his tight red tights, checks the fit of his shoes, and shares banter with his fellow
