Description

A bright young sailor named Edmond Dantès returns to Marseille after a successful voyage, only to find his future hanging by a thread. The ship’s owner, Morrel, trusts him, while jealous colleagues—particularly the calculating Danglars—begin to plot his downfall. As rumors of political intrigue swirl, Dantès is unexpectedly arrested, accused of treason, and thrust into a nightmarish legal battle that shatters his hopes.

Imprisoned in the forbidding Château d’If, he endures years of isolation, yet discovers an unlikely mentor who reveals the secret of a hidden treasure. Fueled by loss and a burning desire for justice, Dantès vows to transform his suffering into a meticulously crafted plan of retribution. Listeners will be drawn into his early struggle, feeling the tension of betrayal and the first stirrings of a legend that will echo through the ages.
