An eccentric gentleman finds his world literally shaken by a single, thunderous sneeze. The blast rattles windows, stirs the air, and leaves his once‑pristine collar torn and grotesquely swollen, as if announcing his newfound, almost supernatural power. Bewildered by the sudden enlargement of both his neck and his ego, he decides the only remedy is a brand‑new, even larger collar—something the city’s modest shops simply cannot provide.
Thus begins a peculiar pilgrimage through Helsinki’s narrow alleys and cramped boutiques, where each clerk meets his outlandish request with bemusement or outright denial. The protagonist’s polite yet increasingly frantic negotiations reveal a surreal blend of absurd bureaucracy and personal vanity. As he wanders from shop to shop, his desperation grows, hinting at a deeper commentary on societal expectations and the lengths one will go to preserve a fragile sense of dignity.
