Description

He rides the edge of fame and ruin, a once‑celebrated jockey whose name shone as brightly as his polished teeth. After a disastrous finish in the Carter Handicap, the world of the Jockey Club turns against him, branding him a cheat and stripping his license. Haunted by shame, he stumbles through a hostile crowd, his pride bruised as badly as his cheek, while his owner’s fury erupts into a violent showdown that leaves him scrambling for any thread of redemption.

Amid the glare of the racetrack and the whispers of conspiracies, an unexpected connection—quiet, determined, and drawn from the margins of the sport—offers a chance to reclaim more than just a saddle. As he confronts accusations and the lingering scent of smoke, he must decide whether to cling to the illusion of his former glory or forge a new path, guided by loyalty, love, and the relentless rhythm of the track.
