Description

In a world reduced to lines and angles, every inhabitant is defined by the shape of his sides. A modest Square narrates life in this strictly ordered plane, where social rank follows the number of edges and even the weather is measured by the tilt of the sun. The customs, laws, and cramped streets are all rendered in precise geometric terms, creating a vivid satire of class and perception that feels both oddly familiar and delightfully strange.

When a mysterious sphere from a higher realm briefly visits, the Square is forced to confront dimensions he has never imagined. The encounter sparks a bewildering blend of wonder and dread, as he struggles to grasp “height” beyond his flat existence. Through witty dialogue and clever illustrations, the story invites listeners to stretch their own imaginations, pondering how much of reality remains unseen from our limited perspective.
