Description

A friendly voice from high above greets listeners—a curious man who lives on the moon, complete with a gigantic mirror‑like magnifier that lets him spy on the world below. He chuckles about the mischief of children everywhere, from candy‑stealing boys in New York to candle‑snatching siblings in distant Kamschatka, and promises to share the tales that have delighted him from his lofty perch.

From that lofty viewpoint he introduces a handful of spirited youngsters he affectionately calls his “Five Mice.” These children—two from America, a pair from France, a duo from Germany, twins from Italy, and a brother‑sister pair from Kamschatka—live together in a whimsically named Mouse‑trap house. Their days are filled with playful pranks, moon‑lit songs, and the kind of everyday adventures that sparkle when a celestial storyteller slides down a moonbeam to listen and then retell their merriment for all to enjoy.
