The collection gathers two medieval legends that turn the age‑old quest for the lost Paradise into vivid, wandering reveries. In the first tale, a devout saint and his band of monks set out from their remote monastery, spurred by a mysterious visitor’s summons, to chase rumors of a garden beyond the world’s edge. Their ship slips through uncharted waters where islands float on abyssal depths, and every horizon hides marvels—towers of crystal, beasts of impossible form, and signs that hint at the ancient garden of Eden.
The second narrative follows three tireless peregrine monks—Teòfil, Sergi and Higini—as they trek across foreign lands, following fragmented clues drawn from sacred scripture and oral tradition. Their journey weaves together holy prophecy, local folklore, and subtle hints of an eternal orchard guarded by celestial beings. Together, the legends offer a richly imagined meditation on faith, curiosity, and the timeless human longing to rediscover a world once known and now forgotten.
