Description

In a far‑future Earth encased in a mile‑thick sheet of ice, humanity clings to frozen megacities while a shadowy menace known only as “The Bear” stalks the streets. Johnny Steel, a hard‑boiled detective with a reputation for reckless bravery, is drawn into a desperate chase after a gang of thieves who have raided a radium bank. The pursuit leads him to an abandoned tower where he confronts his old friend Floyd, now a feared member of the criminal underworld.

The tension crackles as Steel tries to reason with Floyd, hoping to learn the identity of the elusive Bear before more lives are lost. With every flicker of a flashlight and the echo of a gunshot, the story captures a bleak yet gripping world where loyalty, betrayal, and survival collide beneath the endless cold. Listeners are thrust into a suspenseful, noir‑tinged hunt that sets the stage for a larger battle over the fate of a frozen planet.
