Description

Allen Drew is a dock‑side laborer whose routine life on the East River is jolted the moment a young woman steps into his path. Her spring‑light step, violet‑trimmed dress, and hazel eyes make the ordinary pier feel suddenly vivid, sparking in him a restlessness he can’t explain. As he trudges past familiar market stalls toward the chandlery where he works, the memory of that fleeting glimpse lingers, hinting that something beyond daily chores is about to begin.

That uneasy feeling pulls Drew into a world of hidden documents, whispered rumors of buried treasure, and the tumultuous seas that surround the city. Along the way he will confront storms, mutiny, and the strange “green‑eyed monster” that haunts the harbor, all while the mysterious girl seems linked to the fate of the doubloons she’s never spoken of. The story balances a tender, early‑spring romance with the roar of adventure, inviting listeners to follow a young man whose life is set adrift by a single, unforgettable glance.
