Description

In a richly imagined 17th‑century court, a displaced monarch wanders the fragrant gardens of his palace, seeking solace after a bitter battle. He tends to a frail soldier named Gaspar, coaxing him to rest beneath the whispering trees while a gentle flute drifts through the night air. The scene is painted with vivid details—moss‑soft benches, cascading fountains, and the king’s own restless yearning for a world he has lost.

Amid this tranquil setting, the king encounters Kara Aziek, a mysterious lady whose shy, multilingual replies hint at hidden depths. Their brief exchange, charged with gratitude and unspoken longing, reveals a fragile alliance between a ruler stripped of his throne and a woman whose influence may yet alter his fate. Listeners are drawn into a tale of duty, compassion, and the first stirrings of a bond that could reshape both hearts and kingdoms.
