CHAPTER I
CHAPTER II
CHAPTER III
On a golden autumn evening the royal hunt rolls through a beech‑filled forest, the air alive with the blare of trumpets and the rustle of hunters in green livery. King Augustus and his favored son, the young prince, lead a procession of cavalry, lady riders, and wagons piled with fresh venison and boar tusks, all heading toward the hunting lodge at Hubertsburg. The festive atmosphere thickens as tents spring up in the grove, and the court’s laughter swells, hinting at both camaraderie and the subtle rivalries that linger beneath the celebration.
The prince, fresh from felling a massive boar with a single shot, receives his father's approving kiss, cementing his reputation as a capable leader. Yet the merriment masks the expectations of a nation that looks to him as the future ruler of Saxony and Poland, and whispers begin to swirl among the courtiers about favor, ambition, and the delicate balance of power. As twilight deepens, the hunt’s triumph sets the stage for personal and political challenges that will test the prince’s resolve.
