Description

The story opens with an elegant evening at Madame’s salon, where the musketeers and their allies convene for a lavish dinner in the glittering court of Louis XIV. Amid the clinking of crystal and the rustle of sumptuous gowns, d’Artagnan, now a seasoned captain, receives a delicate royal commission that pulls him into the tangled web of courtly intrigue. Old friendships re‑ignite as familiar faces—Planchet, Portos, de Baisemeaux—reappear, while new ambitions stir among the jealous nobles and ambitious clerics.

As the night deepens, the conspirators begin to plot, their whispered schemes entwining love, rivalry, and political maneuvering. The musketeers must balance loyalty to the Sun King with their personal codes, navigating treacherous corridors, secret meetings, and unexpected alliances. The first act sets the stage for a thrilling blend of swashbuckling bravado and the delicate, often ruthless, dance of power that defines life in the French royal court.
