Description

A daring Russian scientist leads a motley crew of engineers, explorers and a reluctant romantic through a series of spectacular escapades that stretch from the depths of volcanic craters to the edge of the solar system. In the opening chapter, the team grapples with a sudden crisis after their experimental vehicle vanishes in a blinding solar flare, leaving their leader Gontran oblivious to the danger while his companions scramble to rescue a fainting colleague and regroup amid a chaotic exodus of lunar‑like beings.

The narrative blends humor with high‑stakes adventure, as the protagonists must decide whether to flee the hostile, rapidly cooling landscape or press onward toward an uncertain destination. Along the way they encounter enigmatic characters such as the mysterious Sélénite Telingâ, whose cryptic warnings hint at deeper perils beyond the horizon. Listeners will be drawn into a vivid world of daring inventions, daring rescues, and the ever‑present tension between curiosity and survival.
