Description

Set against the sweeping prairie of the Red River, the story follows a young Métis maiden whose voice carries both longing and quiet strength. While the sun dips low over fields of violet lilies, she encounters two riders on a secretive mission, and her tender song draws them into a world of whispered alliances and hidden motives.

As tensions rise between the settlers and the Indigenous peoples, she finds herself caught between love, duty, and the looming conflict of the Northwest Rebellion. Her keen insight and courage make her an unlikely spy, navigating a landscape where every rustle of grass could conceal danger. Listeners will be drawn into her inner struggle, feeling the pulse of a land on the brink of change and the delicate balance she must maintain to protect those she holds dear.
