THE ASTONISHING ACTS OF ANNA
In the quiet town of Tinkletown, a sudden blaze erupts at the grain‑elevator just after midnight, sending smoke curling over the school, churches and the local cinema. Deputy Marshal Anderson Crow arrives breathless, his uniform misplaced in the chaos, and rallies the volunteer fire crew with a blend of urgency and dry humor. As the flames lick the night sky, the townsfolk scramble to save what they can, while Crow’s sharp eye already notices a few odd details that don’t belong in a simple fire‑fight.
Amid the smoldering ruins, a series of strange incidents begins to unfold: a veiled lady in a high‑powered car, whispered rumors of a suicide, and a cryptic invitation that seems to pull everyone into a larger mystery. Crow, half detective and half fire chief, finds himself drawn into a tangled web of secrets, petty rivalries and hidden motives that threaten to consume the whole community. The stage is set for a night that will be remembered long after the embers have cooled.
