SISÄLLYS:
During a bright midsummer on the shores of Vironniemi, the Hämäläiset have gathered for a lively fish‑catching feast. Led by the renowned seer Tapo, whose mysterious age and wisdom are spoken of in hushed tones, the community enjoys song and fire while hoping the fragile peace with the Karjalaiset will hold. As the last embers of the sacrificial meal fade, a messenger brings unsettling news: a great Viking fleet is sailing toward the coast.
The horizon soon fills with the sails of dozens of longships, their scarlet pennants and a dragon‑head prow belonging to the formidable Iivari Avarasyli, king of Upsala. The villagers scramble to arm themselves, yet Tapo remains calm, recalling a dream that assures him the newcomers seek lands far to the east. With the sound of distant drums rising, the listeners are left to wonder whether the celebration will turn into a clash or a new alliance.
