Description

Three men crew the modest space yacht Markab, skimming the edge of hyper‑space three parsecs from Deneb. Their orders are simple yet perilous: intercept a mysterious alien vessel that seems to glide without hull, its presence blotting out the stars and freezing nearby electronics. As Captain Rodolph, pilot Rik Guelf, and the sharp‑tongued Pere Danold debate the odds, the crew watches a translucent outline of a woman in crystal, hinting at a power far beyond their trinogen gun.

The mission is personal for Guelf, whose celebrated explorer father vanished five years earlier while chasing the same enigmatic ship. Hopes of a rescue mingle with speculation about the “crystal woman” and the Titans whispered about in ancient space legends. The tension between duty, curiosity, and the unknown pulls the Markab toward a confrontation that could reshape their understanding of the galaxy.
