Description

In the quiet aftermath of a fateful carriage ride, a tightly‑knit family finds itself torn by a missing will that could reshape their futures. Dr. Ashleigh, the steady physician, tries to keep tempers in check while his son Harry wrestles with anger and a desperate curiosity about the hidden document. Meanwhile, the proud Robert Gregory battles a bruised ego, and the reluctant Mr. Petersfield agrees to stay the night at Ramsgate, hoping a calm conversation will point them toward the truth.

The atmosphere is thick with silent promises and veiled threats as each character plots their next move. A sudden outburst in a railway carriage reveals Gregory’s ferocious resolve to locate the secret at any cost, setting the stage for a frantic search that will draw strangers from Alsatia and stir old rivalries. Listeners are invited into a world of Victorian intrigue, where loyalty, love, and ambition clash over a single, concealed piece of paper.
