On a sunny farm tucked among rolling fields, a bustling household awakens each morning to the clatter of carts, the chatter of children, and the soft lowing of cattle. When the sturdy mare Trudel arrives with a fresh load of grass, the three youngsters—two boys and a girl—burst with excitement, racing to help unload and dreaming of the treats the horse will bring. The scene is alive with hens, ducks, goats and a mischievous rabbit, all weaving together a vivid portrait of rural life.
Soon the little mare becomes more than a source of food; she is welcomed into the family’s routine, her gentle eyes meeting the curious hands of the youngest child. As the farmer and his wife tend to the animals and prepare meals, the children learn the rhythms of responsibility, sharing chores and laughter around the stable. Through these early days, the bond between the farmfolk and the spirited horse begins to grow, hinting at adventures that lie ahead.
