Description

A dusty train rolls into Pine Pass, the heart of the Canadian Rockies, where a ragged teenager is harshly hauled from the baggage car by an angry brakeman. The boy's thin frame and desperate eyes stir a mix of outrage and compassion among the passengers, but no one steps forward—until a young rider named Ralph Stetson steps in, demanding the abuse stop. Ralph’s quick temper and ready pocket of money to cover the stranger’s fare set the scene for a tense showdown on the platform.

Raised on the tough borderlands, Ralph’s bronzed features and sturdy attire hint at countless rides through harsh terrain, giving him the confidence to stand up to authority when justice is at stake. The conductor, amused but pragmatic, agrees to let the boy travel onward once the fare is paid, and the massive locomotives sigh back to life, pulling the train deeper into the wilderness. As the landscape rushes past, listeners can anticipate more daring encounters, new friendships, and the rugged spirit that defines life along the frontier.
