author
A little-known Finnish writer from the late 19th and early 20th centuries, she is remembered today through a small surviving body of work and a presence in major public-domain and literary databases.

by Thilda Cederwaller
Thilda Cederwaller was a Finnish author active around the turn of the 20th century. Available catalog records identify her as born in 1860 and deceased in 1920, and place her in Finland.
She appears to be a fairly obscure figure today, with only limited biographical detail easy to confirm from widely accessible sources. Project Gutenberg currently lists her Finnish-language work Toni: Alkuperäinen kertoelma, which suggests that at least part of her writing has remained available to later readers through public-domain preservation.
Because reliable biographical information is sparse, much of her life story is still hard to reconstruct from readily available sources. Even so, her continued appearance in literary reference databases shows that her work has not been entirely forgotten.
