Born in Raahe on July 7, 1887, Heikki Alfred Impola was a Finnish writer who also used the pen name Heikki Rasila. He trained as a primary-school teacher at the Kajaani seminary and worked as a teacher in several Finnish towns, including Toholampi, Kannus, Pattijoki, and Raahe.
Alongside his school work, he built a literary career and wrote fiction noted in library and reference sources as part of Finnish prose of the early 20th century. His known works include Aunolan perhe and Anna, both later made available through Project Gutenberg, helping modern readers rediscover his writing.
In later life he lived in Kajaani and then in the Vantaa area, where he died on November 10, 1971. No suitable verified portrait image could be confirmed from the sources reviewed here.
