Her books include A Handbook of Legendary and Mythological Art, Artists of the Nineteenth Century (with Laurence Hutton), Stories of Art and Artists, A History of Art for Beginners and Students, and Women in the Fine Arts. She also wrote travel-based works, reflecting the extensive journeys that informed her writing.
