Willie Mouse

Willie Mouse is a curious little traveler with a very big idea: if the moon is truly made of green cheese, he is determined to find it. With a lantern, a bit of cheese, and a crust of bread, he sets off into the evening, ready to discover the truth for himself.

Along the way, Willie asks a woodmouse, a wren, a squirrel, and a mole whether they can point him toward the moon. Each offers a different opinion—and a little practical advice—but Willie is not easily discouraged. As darkness falls and the moon shines high above him, his adventure takes an unexpected turn. This gentle story is filled with woodland friends, playful conversation, and the charming determination of a small mouse who believes that wonder is always just a journey away.
