Description

On a bright, lantern‑lit night at the Flying H ranch, a lively crowd gathers for what promises to be the grandest shivaree on the Tumbling River range. Old cattlemen, spirited ladies, and a band of cowboys mingle amid jokes, old coats, and the ever‑present bottle that Uncle Hozie has secretly uncorked. The atmosphere crackles with anticipation as the soon‑to‑be‑bride, dressed by the fashionable Laura Hatton, prepares for a wedding that could turn the quiet prairie into a raucous celebration.

Yet beneath the merriment, tension simmers—some guests fret over the minister’s arrival, while others worry Hozie’s drinking might outpace the choir’s hymn. As the kitchen erupts with a bawdy song and the men’s restless legs demand a dance, the community’s old‑world values clash with the rowdy frontier spirit. Listeners are invited to step into this vivid tableau of humor, romance, and the timeless tug‑of‑war between propriety and revelry.
