Description

Tom Swift walks home across a summer meadow, marveling at the sprawling complex his family built—a foundry, mill, electrical shop, and hangars full of aircraft. He’s proud of the plant’s achievements and quietly rehearses a daring new scheme that could change his world, though he’s kept the details to himself. The evening sky deepens, and the glow of chimneys hints at the nonstop work that fuels his ambitions.

When night falls, Tom spots a lone figure slipping toward the fence, moving in a way that defies explanation. The plant’s alarm system should have sounded, yet the intruder vanishes without a trace, leaving Tom both uneasy and intrigued. Determined to protect his creation, he steps forward, ready to uncover whatever secret threatens his work—and perhaps to launch the bold venture he’s been planning.
