Description

A scorching frontier stretches under a bright moon, where the rhythm of cattle drives and the clatter of hidden rifles set the stage for a night that could change everything. Filomeno Cuevas, a rugged rancher, gathers a motley crew of peasants, soldiers, and opportunists, each sworn to a secretive oath as the first bell of midnight draws near. The air is thick with the scent of river reeds and the restless whispers of a land caught between tradition and rebellion.

Among the assembled are Atilio Palmieri, the impulsive cousin with a taste for danger, and the enigmatic Colonelito de la Gándara, a deserter whose military knowledge clashes with Filomeno’s raw instinct. Their plans range from daring raids on convents to igniting chaos in bustling fairs, all while a ticking clock looms overhead. As loyalties are tested and ambitions flare, listeners are pulled into a vivid tableau of power, violence, and the desperate hope of those who dare to reshape their destiny.
