Description

In a silent valley of the Northwest, three teenagers—Rob, John and Jesse—pitch a lone white tent beneath towering spruce and distant snow‑capped peaks. After surviving a dangerous castaway ordeal on Kadiak Island, they are again urged by their uncle, a seasoned civil engineer, to test themselves on the old fur‑trader water trail that winds across the Rocky Mountains to the Peace River. The first night finds the forest eerily still, the fading light casting long shadows, and the boys feeling both excitement and a familiar edge of unease.

The journey unfolds with dense spruce thickets, jagged ridges and swift rivers that test the boys' resolve at every turn. As they learn to read the land, share supplies and confront sudden weather, their friendship deepens and each obstacle becomes a lesson in perseverance. Listeners will hear the crackle of campfire logs, the distant call of a bear, and feel the crisp mountain air, all while the group discovers what it means to grow up in the untamed Alaskan frontier.
