Description

In the dust‑blown town of Silver Bar, two unlikely partners slide into a cramped saloon and take their seats at a creaking card table. Goober Glendon, a weathered veteran with a sharp, hooked nose and a quiet confidence, wagers in steady, measured piles, while his young counterpart Johnny Wells—muscular, easy‑going, and keen‑eyed—struggles to keep pace. Their conversation drifts from old acquaintances like the elusive financier Frank C. Austin to the promise of a night’s ride toward a distant Keno range, setting a tone of restless curiosity.

The atmosphere shifts when the door bursts open to the echo of two gunshots, and a hulking stranger shoves a stumbling drunk into the doorway, sheriff’s badge glinting against his coat. Tension crackles as the locals scramble, eyes darting between the newcomers and the sudden threat. Listeners are drawn into a Western mystery where old debts, hidden fortunes, and a mystery gunfight promise to unveil the secrets lurking behind Silver Bar’s dusty veneer.
