Description

A timeless tale of love and fate begins with the birth of Tristan, the child of sorrow whose mother dies the moment she holds him. Raised by the faithful marshal Rohalt, the young heir is hidden from hostile forces and trained in the arts of knighthood—swordplay, hunting, music, and an unshakable sense of honor. His early years are marked by loyalty and the lingering grief of a kingdom torn by war.

When a band of Norwegian merchants kidnaps Tristan, his fierce spirit fights back, yet the sea itself seems to punish the crime. A storm drives the captors to a rugged coastline, where the ship is abandoned and Tristan reaches shore alone. Exhausted and haunted by memories of his mentors, he hears the distant cry of a hunt and the thundering of hooves, a sound that stirs both his courage and his longing for a place to call home.
