Description

A seasoned prospector who once made his fortune on Wall Street now finds himself deep in the Bosnian hills, hunting for a rich vein of ore that could revive his restless spirit. Disguised in a rugged, half‑peasant, half‑miner outfit, he watches the sunset over the Gravenje peaks while recalling his youthful wanderings across the Balkans. The peace is shattered by a sudden rifle crack, a reminder that the remote landscape hides unseen dangers and vigilant locals wary of foreign wealth.

His loyal dog, Chris, sniffs the air and tenses, signaling that something—or someone—approaches on the dusty road. With the echo of another shot and the distant thundering of hooves, the prospect realizes his modest camp may be the target of hostile forces. As he steadies himself to uncover the source of the threat, the stakes rise beyond a simple mining claim, hinting at deeper political intrigue and a clash between ambition and the unforgiving mountain peoples.
