Description

In the shadowed halls of a crumbling hacienda, the once‑fearless Don Tadeo, known as the King of Darkness, grapples with a raw, personal loss that threatens to topple his iron will. Fresh from a hard‑won victory that saved his nation from ruin, he now faces a deeper battle—avenging his vanished daughter, Doña Rosario, while wrestling with the temptation to seize power for himself. His loyal friend Don Gregorio urges him to consider the people's gratitude, yet Tadeo insists that true leadership demands solitude and sacrifice.

Across rugged Andean trails, a young French officer named Louis and a mysterious indigenous guide, Joan, join the desperate search for the kidnapped Doña Rosario. Their journey weaves together fierce combat, secret alliances, and a tender, forbidden love that fuels their resolve. As alliances shift and danger looms, the trio must decide whether personal honor or the promise of freedom will guide their steps.
