Description

Blake Stewart and Joe Duncan are teenage pioneers of early cinema, traveling the rugged Southwest to capture the secret dances of the Moqui Indians on film. Their adventure takes a sudden turn when they stumble upon a tense standoff, discovering that a rival crew is planning a deadly raid on prisoners hidden in a canyon. With their trusty camera still rolling, the boys must decide whether to intervene, risking their own safety to protect the captives and preserve the footage they’ve worked so hard to obtain.

Guided by the grizzled cowboy Hank Selby, the trio races toward the coast, hoping the shoreline will offer a chance to regroup and plan their next move. Along the way they confront treacherous terrain, unexpected attacks, and the looming threat of a mysterious swordfish that could change everything. Their quest blends daring rescue work with the excitement of early filmmaking, delivering a fast‑paced, suspenseful tale of friendship and bravery.
