Description

A band of spirited youths rides down a rugged Sierran trail, eager to trade the quiet of the red‑wood hills for the glitter of the Pacific. Their cargo—a boxed treasure of sapphires rescued from a forgotten miner’s cabin—must reach the safety of Santa Inez, but the mountain roads are too risky for a simple wagon. With a daring plan to summon Captain Akers and his motorboat “Nomad,” the boys hope a swift sea journey will keep the precious gems out of outlaw hands.

As the riders near the mission town, the rhythm of hooves gives way to the salty scent of the harbor, and the promise of open water fuels their excitement. Along the way they clash with jokes, nervous chatter, and a steadfast burro that carries their supplies. The stage is set for a high‑spirited adventure where youthful courage, clever ingenuity, and a splash of danger will test the Motor Rangers before the first wave even breaks.
