Description

In the dim, cavernous hideaway of an ancient Montezuma shrine, a band of ragged men—armed with lances, swords and strange, ornately carved clubs—converse in hushed, guttural speech, their eyes fixed on a flickering fire. Their leader, the enigmatic Tetzcatl, declares a daring plan: to stir up the Comanches, Lipans and Apaches and lure American hunters into a trap that could bring the long‑forgotten treasure of the old empire back into the world. The opening scenes set a foreboding mood, hinting at a clash of cultures and ambitions that will soon spill beyond the cave walls.

From those shadowed beginnings the narrative follows Tetzcatl’s restless pursuit, drawing in a motley cast of Texas settlers, Mexican soldiers and wandering adventurers. As the promise of hidden gold fuels daring raids and uneasy alliances, listeners are pulled into a vivid tableau of frontier tension, where mythic prophecy meets the gritty reality of the Alamo’s looming battle.
