Description

In a bustling town far from the sea, the widowed Mrs. Pickle raises her twin children, Zuzu and Lulu, whose striking green and blue hair set them apart from everyone else. Their father, a gentle but impoverished chemist, spent years perfecting a “Twofold‑tint” potion that turned the twins’ locks into the vivid shades they now flaunt. When a sudden illness leaves him too weak to finish his work, the family is left with a cupboard full of mysterious chemicals and a lingering promise to be fulfilled.

Soon after, an odd visitor arrives, drawn by rumors of the Pickles’ extraordinary hair and the strange experiments hidden in their home. The twins’ curiosity and their mother’s determination blend with a dash of whimsical inventions—an enchanted banjo, a submarine express, and more—setting the stage for a series of light‑hearted escapades. Listeners will be swept into a world where everyday life mingles with fanciful marvels, all seen through the eyes of two uniquely colored siblings.
