Description

A reclusive scholar named Chalmers fills his dim apartment with ancient grimoires, medieval manuscripts and the latest equations of Einstein, arguing that modern science has missed the true nature of existence. He convinces a skeptical visitor to join him in a daring experiment: using a forgotten Chinese alchemical drug and his own theories of a fourth dimension, he hopes to pierce the veil of time itself. Their conversation crackles with philosophical debate, mixing mysticism, early 20th‑century physics and the lure of forbidden knowledge.

When Chalmers finally ingests the mysterious substance, the atmosphere shifts, and the room seems to pulse with an otherworldly geometry. The listener is drawn into the uneasy tension of that moment, feeling the first tremors of a reality where past, present and future may converge. The story balances intellectual intrigue with a creeping horror that hints at forces far beyond human comprehension.
