Description

The story opens on a quiet August evening along the banks of the Maumee River in 1794. A lone stag comes to drink, only to be shattered by a rifle blast and a swift, brutal strike from an unseen warrior. The clash draws the attention of a mysterious figure—a sixteen‑year‑old girl whose calm precision turns the hunt into a startling act of vengeance.

Clad in a close‑fitting hunting frock and a doe‑skin cape edged with beads, she moves with the grace of a panther and the confidence of a seasoned frontiersman. Golden hair falls around a face marked by a daring smile and eyes as blue as the sky through the trees, while a delicate yet ornate rifle hangs at her side, its silver‑etched crosses and crescents catching the fading light. As she stands over her fallen foe, the narrative promises a tale of frontier danger, cultural clash, and a young woman determined to shape her own legend.
