Description

A weary explorer awakens to a cold, disembodied voice that names him and delivers an impossible deadline: three days to leave Baden‑Baden. The warning arrives in the dead of night, echoing through his empty apartment and leaving him questioning whether he’s been haunted, hypnotized, or simply driven to panic. He spends frantic minutes searching for hidden devices, but finds only a bottle of whisky and his own racing thoughts. The urgency forces him to abandon a well‑earned rest and confront a mystery that feels far beyond ordinary adventure.

Compelled by a newspaper commission, he heads toward the Black Forest, where whispers of a resurrected vampire scourge have terrified locals. Animals are found emaciated, a giant bat has been sighted, and a stubborn silence blankets those who might help. As the countdown ticks, he must balance his seasoned instincts with a growing dread that something far older than his previous exploits is at work. The first three days set the stage for a race against an unseen menace, promising tension, intrigue, and a battle of wits against the uncanny.
