Description

A storm‑laden night in a sleepy French town sets the tone for a tale of hidden conspiracies and grim legacies. A peculiar gathering at a tavern ends with a malfunctioning guillotine, a misplaced nail, and a promise of vengeance that lingers for years, hinting at a secret society whose influence spreads like a crimson circle across the continent.

Fast forward to an icy evening when a desperate, financially ruined man is summoned to an ominous black‑silk‑cowed driver. The driver confronts him with accusations of theft, poison, and a looming suicide, offering a dangerous bargain that could bind him to the mysterious cabal. As the wind whirls leaves around their car, the listener is pulled into a web of moral ambiguity, intrigue, and the looming threat that a single, seemingly insignificant nail may have set in motion.

The opening chapters blend atmospheric suspense with a sharp focus on human frailty, inviting listeners to follow a path where every choice could seal a fate tied to the ever‑present, blood‑red emblem of the Crimson Circle.
