Description

A reflective young scholar in Cambridge, he walks the historic quads with a mind that favors steady progress over the lure of prophecy. His days are steeped in the university’s centuries‑old traditions, yet a quiet urgency drives him to a new, uneasy task. When he approaches the college Master for permission to leave his duties, the conversation reveals both his personal resolve and the weight of the responsibility he is about to shoulder.

The catalyst arrives in the form of Lord Hartover, a charismatic yet troubled noble whose sudden appearance drags the tutor into a tangled web of family secrets and looming crises. As the master’s counsel urges him onward, the tutor finds himself poised between scholarly routine and the unpredictable demands of a young aristocrat’s fate. Listeners are drawn into the early tension of duty, curiosity, and the promise of a story that will test both intellect and heart.
