Description

In the bleak aftermath of a devastating siege, Warsaw lies in ruins, its once‑vibrant streets reduced to silent, twisted alleys haunted by the echo of artillery and the whispers of its scattered inhabitants. Amid the shattered palaces and crumbling homes, people from every walk of life—nobles, laborers, children—are forced to seek shelter in the river’s shadowy banks, clinging to the few belongings they can protect. The city’s sorrowful quiet is punctuated by the ever‑present threat of lawlessness, as desperate survivors hide in cellars, garrets, and even ancient catacombs, trying to stay one step ahead of occupying forces.

Against this backdrop of destruction, a small band of Boy Scouts emerges, driven by a fierce loyalty to their homeland. United by youthful courage and an unshakable belief that Poland lives on in the hearts of its people, they begin to organize covert efforts to aid the displaced, protect the vulnerable, and keep the spirit of resistance alive. Their quiet heroism offers a glimmer of hope in a city shrouded by war’s darkness.
