Description

In a hill‑top kingdom a king and queen raise their only child, Princess Rainbow, under a strange decree. A gypsy’s cryptic warning that the girl will be happy only until she sees Spring leads the monarchs to seal her world: a high tower, a canvas curtain, and a law that anyone who mentions the season will lose their head. Growing into a striking young woman, Rainbow accepts the isolation until her sixteenth birthday awakens a fierce curiosity.

That spring day a distant, lilting melody slips through the curtain, filling her room with imagined blossoms, birdsong, and the scent of fresh grass. The sudden vision ignites a desperate desire to step outside, but the next evening she is struck by a mysterious illness that no physician can name. With the kingdom’s best healers exhausted, the queen summons a reclusive wise woman from the woods, hoping she can unravel the cause of Rainbow’s plight.
