On a bleak winter night in 1464, the stone walls of Raasepori Castle are buried beneath towering drifts, and the wind whistles through the empty courtyards. Inside, the aging steward Abraham returns with his daughter Kristiña, a shy but curious young woman who assists the servants while listening to the old tales of Saint Lucy’s night and the restless spirits that roam the longest night of the year. As the villagers huddle in their snow‑capped homes, a sense of lingering enchantment hangs over the castle, hinting at hidden powers that have long watched over the land.
Kristiña’s quiet life is stirred by whispered legends of a once‑crowned, nameless queen who rose from humble origins—a story that seems oddly intertwined with her own family’s past. The mysteries surrounding the ghostly processions and a mysterious belt left by a vanished ancestor begin to draw her into a world where folklore and fate collide. With each flicker of candlelight, the young maiden finds herself standing at the edge of an ancient destiny that may yet reshape the kingdom.
