Storm

A brutal spring tornado tears through the tiny hill‑top town of Rock Springs, flattening its sixty homes in a matter of minutes. When the wind finally sighs away, a stunned silence settles over the wreckage, broken only by the desperate cries of survivors searching for loved ones amid the rubble. Lightning flickers, rain hammers the broken streets, and the night deepens, leaving the community bruised, bewildered, and in urgent need of aid.

Amid the chaos, Mary Collins, the town’s telephone operator, stumbles through the debris to find her injured parents and the only doctor left standing. With her father gravely wounded yet calmly urging her to seek help, Mary faces a shattered road, a twisted car, and lashing rain as she races toward the nearest line of communication.
