In a remote desert where the world’s most brilliant geologist holds sway, a lanky, muscle‑bound student named Morris serves as the professor’s reluctant sidekick. Expelled for bringing a mysterious “bubble dancer” to the Institute, three handsome but disgruntled scholars are forced to accompany him on a routine specimen‑collecting sortie, a task that quickly turns into a test of pride and survival. The desert, owned outright by the egotistical professor, feels more like a personal kingdom than a research site, and Morris is constantly reminded that his size is the only reason the scholar tolerates him.
As the trio fumbles with cryptic plates and flickering red and blue buttons, the professor’s sardonic lectures on calculus and astrophysics echo through the sand, hinting at deeper experiments that could reshape their understanding of geology. Tensions rise, loyalties are questioned, and the barren landscape becomes a crucible where ambition, rivalry, and the strange allure of the bubble dancer begin to crack the fragile veneer of academic order.
