Description

In the heat‑blasted town of Gunsight, the clatter of ore‑teams and the low croak of a lone dove set the stage for a quiet struggle over wealth and power. The mining office buzzes with nervous men like Andrew McBain, whose eyes dart to the horizon whenever a lone rider appears on the dusty road. That rider is Rimrock Jones, a burly newcomer with a pistol low on his leg, whose sudden arrival turns the town’s uneasy calm into a tense standoff.

Rimrock’s reputation precedes him; whispers speak of a man who once struck gold and now carries a sack of rocks as proof of his claim. The townsfolk—saloon owners, Mexican laborers, and a deaf typist listening for every word—watch him with a mixture of awe and suspicion, especially as a mysterious woman has been inquiring after him for weeks. Listeners are drawn into a world where loyalty, danger, and the promise of fortune collide, setting the stage for a classic Western showdown.
