Description

In the twilight of fourteenth‑century Rome, two brothers wander the banks of the Tiber, their steps echoing through the city’s tangled streets, looming towers, and distant monasteries. The elder, a lanky, contemplative scholar dressed in simple grey robes, carries a quiet ambition that seems to reach beyond his modest origins, while his younger sibling radiates a gentle, almost tender confidence in his modest attire. Their bond, forged in youthful reverence, frames a world where the clamor of monks, the rustle of distant palaces, and the murmuring river set the stage for dreams of greatness.

As they converse, the elder speaks of a destiny intertwined with Rome’s revival, hinting at political intrigue and the lure of power that lies hidden among the city’s ancient walls. The younger brother, though aware of their humble lineage, is drawn into the vision of a future where their names might echo through the corridors of empire. Together, they embark on a journey that will test loyalty, ambition, and the fragile line between aspiration and reality.
