Description

In the bleak aftermath of Cromwell’s campaign, the Irish countryside lies scarred, villages smoldering and the River Dee winding through a desolate night. A lone rider, his horse wounded and his own shoulder torn, pushes through the darkness, his bright yellow hair flashing beneath the moon’s hesitant light. He is Brian, a fierce warrior known for his sword and a reputation that borders on legend, driven by a mix of grief and restless fury.

The silence is shattered when a hunched, rag‑clad figure emerges from the shadows—a crone the locals whisper call the Black Woman. Her eyes, strange and brown, seem to see straight into Brian’s soul, and she hurls ancient Gaelic curses that awaken old myths of heroes and curses. As the encounter spirals into a clash of steel and prophecy, the promise of a fiery heroine named Nuala glimmers on the horizon, hinting at a battle that will test loyalty, love, and the very fate of a nation.
